Patricia A. Leuschen

Director of Sales & Marketing

Viewing it as a privilege to assist older adults and their families in making one of the biggest decisions they have ever made, Patty is a 30 year veteran in providing services and assistance to seniors. With expertise in marketing and managing senior living communities and working as a case manager, Patty is pleased to offer not only information about retirement lifestyle options, but extensive knowledge about accessing and coordinating an array of assistance to seniors which results in a smooth transition from resident’s former home to Springhill! 

B.A. in Social Work from Mercyhurst College; formerly certified as an Assisted Housing Manager and as Personal Care Home Administrator.


Kristen M. Gehrlein

Senior Living Counselor

Graduated from Gannon University in 2007 with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing her MBA at Gannon. Her experience includes 5 years of focusing on the senior population in Erie, PA and financial sales. She uses her education, experience, and passion to help future residents understand what a CCRC is and specifics regarding Springhill residential living and persona care. She prides herself on making future residents feel welcome. Kristen is married and grew up in Erie, PA.

Jill Mannino

Move-In Coordinator

Jill came to Springhill in April 2009.  She began as a Nurses Aid in our Choice Plus program.  In 2009, Jill  moved her dad to Springhill from Illinois, so she has first hand experience in all the details involved with downsizing and moving to a retirement community.  Because of this experience, Jill became Springhill’s Move-In Coordinator in March 2010.  It has been a rewarding position for her and a pleasure to work with families and their loved ones.  She graduated in 1989 with a Communications degree from University of Northern Iowa.  Jill is married to her husband Tim and they have two children, Rachel and Jared.


Susan E. Sherwood

Marketing Coordinator

Susan was excited to join the Springhill family in March 2010.  She came from the financial industry, with seven years experience marketing for the branch and helping clients reach their financial goals.  Through these seven years of experience, Susan worked with seniors often and enjoyed that part of her job immensely.  Now at Springhill, Susan loves seeing and working with seniors everyday.  Her primary job duty is event coordination and all the details that go along with making each event at Springhill a success.  Susan graduated from Penn State University in December 2001, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology.  She lives in Union City, PA with her husband John, and their two sons Austin and Landon.


Laurie Dart, RN

Admissions Manager for ForestView, Resident Care Manager for Springhill and OakView

Please join us in welcoming Laurie Dart, RN to the Springhill Community.  Laurie is the Admissions Manager for ForestView as well as Resident Care Manager for Springhill and OakView. Laurie’s new role includes visits to all residents at local hospitals.  She has over 20 years of medical management experience and most recently was working as a nurse in the critical care environment. Laurie is a graduate of Penn State Behrend with dual degrees in Business and Nursing.
